I'm Laura Novotny, founder of Seny Kids. I never thought I would become so passionate about baby clothing until the birth of our sweet daughter Mia in October of 2021. Dressing my baby in cute outfits is something I’ve looked forward to my entire life.

However, I quickly realized cute wasn’t always functional. I always had to change her outfit based on the weather. Hot outside? She needed something more breathable. Cold outside? She needed something warmer.

I found that her temperature was better regulated when she was wearing bamboo clothing, so I no longer had to change her 10x a day! I began researching bamboo fabric. It didn’t take me long to find out that this fabric is incredible in so many ways. It is hypoallergenic, highly absorbent, breathable, and very soft.

Mia was also able to wear bamboo clothing much longer than other ones because of how stretchy they were! All of this led me to create Seny Kids; cute and functional high-quality baby clothing.

Why the name Seny Kids?

I wanted to incorporate the word “dream” in the company name while also making it unique to our family. After doing some digging, I found the word “Sen” means dream in Czech, which is where the Novotny name comes from. Incorporating the word “dream” was important to me because I want kids to be encouraged to dream big and chase them no matter how scary it may be.

Seny Kids is built on helping our little ones dream in comfort and style.
